Kelly grew up on the East Coast with parents who loved to drive to Florida, Maine and everywhere in between, but never ventured too far inland. She developed a love for diners, offbeat attractions, and letting the road decide where you end up. A few years ago, she packed her bags, her cats and her boyfriend and moved out west in the middle of December. Snow and a deadline kept her from seeing much more than cows and pavement, so she’s determined to remedy that this Summer. Her goals for the TBEX Roadtrip: find odd, local food, good coffee and quirky Americana…. and learn how to camp, since she does live in the Pacific Northwest now and lacks the required outdoorsy skills.

Kelly’s also a travel addict and the co-founder of the Bloggie nominated travel site, Travellious, which encourages (enables) others to get out there and see the world on their own terms. .
